Lisette Atala
Mindfulness Professional

Lisette Atala-Doocy studied classical music and linguistics and has been involved in the art world in San Diego for many years, at the Timken Museum of Art, California Center for the Arts, Escondido and many other institutions.   She was executive and program director at a classical music station 104.9FM. Several years ago she read Jon Kabat-Zinn’s “Full Catastrophy Living” and she was very interested in the program that Kabat-Zinn talked about in the book.  Later on, she took the course at UCSD Center for Mindfulness as well as several other courses related to Mindfulness. She holds a  Certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction from the  Mindfulness Based Professional Training Institute at UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness.  A Teaching Certification in The Mindfulness in Schools Project & UCSD.  A program that originated in the UK.  Lisette is an avid meditator who has practiced for 20 years.
